Team Members

Todd Pfister specializes in maximizing value for closely held business owners and their families. He has more than 30 years of experience in finance, corporate development, M&A, operations, sales and human resources, delivering top and bottom-line results across a broad range of industries. With extensive knowledge of finance gained through leading corporate development teams and assisting family businesses he’s a leading regional business finance resource. He brings knowledge and guidance for buy and sell side transactions gained through guiding buyers and sellers through the transaction process.

Todd is also Managing Partner of FranNet MidAmerica. In this role, he counsels individuals and franchise organizations, developing the best strategic fit for all stakeholders. Prior to co-founding TP4 Advisors in 2013, he owned, operated and/or managed several small-to-medium sized businesses in manufacturing, consulting, technology and financial services industries.

Todd is a service provider to The Goering Center, past president and board member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), member of the University of Cincinnati’s Kolodzik Business Scholars (KBS) advisory board, and CEO Roundtable participant at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy. In a typical month, he hosts numerous business ownership and financial programs throughout the region. Additionally, he was honored with the John F. Barrett Entrepreneur Vision Award from the Entrepreneurs’ Organization of Cincinnati and LEAD Tribune Media Group in 2017.

A graduate of Taylor University with an MBA from Xavier University, Todd resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Natalie, and their four children.
Tom focuses on financial analysis and valuation for Main Street and Lower Middle Market businesses. He has over 30 years of comprehensive experience in all aspects of accounting and financial management. Career highlights include specialized experience with valuations and strategic financial analysis for companies in the M&A arena, as well as significant success in growing small- and medium-sized companies and assisting businesses with turnaround services that enable them to return to growth mode. Additionally, he’s president/CEO of TPAC, LLC, which provides CFO and financial accounting services to a wide range of businesses.

Prior to cofounding TP4 Advisors in 2013, he served in increasingly more responsible positions including CFO of Color Resolutions and vice president of Structured Finance at Fifth Third Bank.
Tom is a service provider for The Goering Center, as well as a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and CEO Roundtable at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy. He earned degrees in finance and accounting from Miami University, and an MBA from Xavier University. He lives in Cincinnati with his wife, Sue, and their three children.

Rachel Blackburn

Business Development Executive
Rachel Blackburn is a proven business leader with more than 15 years of experience developing and leading executive-level engagements, building and leading high-functioning teams and practices.

Rachel has a deeply rooted passion for understanding the needs of the business owner and identifying the best strategies to support their goals in an ever-changing marketplace. Prior to joining TP4 Advisors, Rachel has held senior management positions at Cincinnati based companies, including TRAK Group and Titan Chair.

As the Business Development Executive, Rachel leads the organization in communicating with potential clients to understand how TP4 Advisors can best support their needs to develop financial foundations for sustainable growth for their business.

In her time away from work, Rachel enjoys getting outside, reading, biking, traveling, bonfires and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Bill Meier

CFO Advisor
Bill Meier brings over 40 years of experience as a CFO, general manager, public accountant, and tax specialist to TP4 Advisors. He has worked primarily with closely held businesses in manufacturing as a CFO and as a board member on both advisory boards and boards of directors. Most recently, he worked as the CFO of JTM Provisions Company, a large middle market food processing company located in the greater Cincinnati area.

Bill’s skills include strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting with a focus on key performance measures that drive profitability. He brings a proven ability to foster relationships with the banking and financing community and an extensive background in managing diverse business functions. He has consistently demonstrated his ability to successfully implement effective organization structures, management systems, and technology to support organizational growth.

A certified public accountant, Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Xavier University. He resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Kathy.

Brad Haller

CFO Advisor
Brad Haller brings over 30 years of experience as a CFO, Controller, attorney and public accountant to TP4 Advisors. He has worked primarily with closely held businesses in the medical field as a CFO and a Controller. Most recently, he worked as the President/CFO of Wing Eyecare, Cincinnati's largest group optometry practice. While at Wing Eyecare, he assisted in the development of their own manufacturing lab where they assembled their own glasses.

Brad has proven experience in business development, from $3,000,000 to $29,000,000 in annual revenues. He brings keen financial acumen to lead businesses to profitability in both lean times and periods of growth. His skills include executive leadership, annual planning, acquisition integration, change and growth management.

He has consistently demonstrated his ability to successfully implement effective organization structures, management systems, and technology to support organizational growth. Brad identified, led and completed the acquisition of more than five companies/practices that were added to Wing Eyecare over the years. In addition, he represented and led Wing Eyecare through the sale to Goldman Sachs backed MyEyeDr.

Brad graduated from Xavier University in 1992, playing baseball all four years while there. His love for sports led him to coaching his children’s youth sports teams, both baseball and basketball. He likes to attend sporting events with his wife and family, as well as travel to visit their kids who live in other cities for jobs/college.

Dan Littman

CFO Advisor
Dan brings over 30 years of Finance and Accounting experience to TP4. He has worked in a variety of industries, including real estate management and development, financial services, medical device, manufacturing, distribution, and retail. Additionally, Dan worked for 10 years at an international public accounting firm, mainly serving privately owned businesses.

He has been the CFO of three mid-market enterprises. In each situation, he brought structure and meaningful reporting to the organization. He likes to say he “brings order to chaos”.

Dan has worked under a variety of ownership structures, including a large public corporation, private equity, venture capital backed and privately owned. He has been involved with both business acquisitions and the sale of businesses, with experience in analysis, negotiation, due diligence, and subsequent transition and integration.

Dan is a CPA, and a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. He lives in Cincinnati with his wife Susan, and their three children.

Jeff Scheeler

CFO Advisor
Jeff Scheeler has more than 30 years’ experience spanning public accounting, financial services, retail, software development and technology environments. He has been successful in creating and leading high-performance finance and service teams in complex legal settings.

Jeff combines strategic/tactical financial expertise with strong qualifications in operations and P&L management. He has a record of capturing significant cost reductions through process redesign and performance enhancement.

Jeff received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Business Pre-Law from Ohio University and an MBA from Xavier University. He passed the CPA exam in 1986 and held his active CPA license until the end of 2021 when he let it go inactive. He is a past member of the Ohio Society of CPAs (OSCPA) and past President of the Cincinnati Chapter of the OSCPA. In addition to his work at TP4, Jeff is the Treasurer of the Loveland L.I.F.E. Food Pantry. He resides in Pleasant Plain, OH with his wife Becky.

Trisha Cole

CFO Advisor
Trisha brings 20 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, and Tax, with over 11 years working in the construction industry. She started her career in public accounting, working for Deloitte as a Tax Consultant for privately held companies and she most recently served as the CFO of Enerfab, Inc., one of the largest privately held companies in the Cincinnati area. Trisha has experience as a CFO for both small and large size businesses, providing a wide lens to help her serve her clients better.

Trisha brings expertise in improving processes through the use of technology, bridging gaps between financial results and operations teams, and establishing metrics for success. In addition, Trisha has experience in mergers and acquisitions in both due diligence and integrations. Her ability to look at the big picture first before attacking problems has helped her provide valuable solutions for the teams with whom she’s worked.

Trisha loves spending time with her husband, Greg, and their children, Noah (6) and Emery (3). They especially enjoy spending time outdoors boating, fishing and swimming.

Tara Brown

CFO Advisor
Tara serves as a Finance Director for TP4, bringing over 14 years of finance and accounting management experience with companies in the Ohio and Florida area. She has worked within a broad range of industries, including construction, hospitality and property management. Tara is experienced in virtually all aspects of finance and accounting management, including successfully optimizing control systems and building solid teams to meet business needs and achieving demanding financial targets. Tara received her Bachelor’s in Accounting at University of South Florida, which led her to her Finance Director role at Southshore Hospitality Management. A highlight of her career was developing and implementing a business plan for the corporation that drove them from an unprofitable operation to a thriving financial operation which included incorporating costing procedures and systems to drive down costs without jeopardizing the customer experience. She enjoys helping businesses reach their financial goals and paving the way for success! Tara loves spending time with her husband, 3 girls and puppy (11) Peyton, (8) Brooklyn, (6) Kelsea and (10 months) Roxy, a Mini goldendoodle. Some of her favorite things to do are travel, try new restaurants and anything outdoors with the family.

Brian Russell

Director, Merger & Acquisition Services
Brian Russell serves TP4 clients by planning and managing the process of buying or selling a business. An intermediary between buyer/seller and a liaison with the legal, financial, and other professionals, Brian helps a client focus on leading their business without being overwhelmed by the transaction process activities.

He has 25 years of experience managing the activities and professionals typically involved in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) -- strategy, valuation, market research, informational materials, communication with interested parties, diligence requirements, negotiation, and closing coordination with the advisory team.

Prior to advising clients in M&A transactions, Brian led corporate development teams that acquired and integrated companies into the larger enterprise of the acquirer. He has transaction experience in numerous industries, including software, enterprise IT, manufacturing, healthcare, banking, and professional services.

His MBA is from Xavier University where he studied quality improvement and entrepreneurship. His BSB is from Murray State University with a concentration in computer information systems. Brian is a certified consultant in the Birkman Method, certified in Leadership Coaching, and a Distinguished Toastmaster.

Lisa Love Holtman

Accounting & Implementation Manager
Lisa Love Holtman worked as the controller for Busken Bakery where she was responsible for all accounting operations including preparation and review of financial statements, implementation of metrics to monitor business performance, and implementation of processes for prepayment of all custom cake and cookie orders. She completed bi-weekly payroll processing for 150 employees, developed a process to ensure proper cash handling in retail locations, and administered the company’s 401(k) plan.

Prior to joining Busken, she worked as the controller at 3z.net, and, before that, office manager for Widmer’s Dry Cleaning.
Lisa was born and raised in Cincinnati. She currently lives in Goshen with her husband, Tom. Her children are grown and out of the house, but they have four dogs that have become their new (Belgian and German Shepherd) children: Fritz, Gretta, Karl, and Annie. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and loves to camp. She and Tom are also big music fans and typically plan their vacations around a concert in another city.

Joanne Fulton

Accounting Manager
Joanne Fulton brings over 30 years of experience in finance, accounting, purchasing, office management and business ownership. Her industry experience includes manufacturing, retail, distribution, property management, construction, healthcare, and hospitality.

Previously she owned and operated a 90-site campground in Vermont for 15 years, along with managing all accounting functions for 2 grocery stores. In 2020, she sold the campground to move to Kentucky where she now resides with her husband Greg.

Joanne and her husband currently own a cow/calf operation at their Kentucky home. In her spare time, Joanne enjoys spending time with her grandkids, working cattle, walking her dogs on the farm, and riding her Harley.

Keith Rust

Controller
Keith Rust brings to TP4 over 25 years of experience at a diverse set of companies ranging from small businesses to multi-billion dollar corporations. Prior to TP4, Keith worked as an accountant and in various other roles at companies including Dallman & Bohl General Contractors, Maxim Crane Works, Fischer Homes, Crossmark, and Reser Bicycle Outfitters.

Keith’s career encompasses 12 years in construction, 6 in the bikes/bike events/retail area, 3 in marketing analytics and 4 in various other industries. He has expertise in the management of operational costs and departmental resource allocation using quantitative and qualitative methods. He also has an exceptional ability to visualize and implement data process improvements from initial collection stage to the interpretation of results.

Keith graduated from Thomas More College with a Bachelor of Arts in accounting, cum laude and a minor in business administration. He also has a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, Cox School of Business. He resides in Northern KY with his 2 rescue dogs. An avid cyclist and former Cycling Coach for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, he spends his free time outdoors road cycling, mountain biking, and building hiking/biking trails. He also serves on the board of 2 local non-profits that are focused on improving communities and providing access to recreational opportunities.

Dave Schmidt

Controller
Dave is a senior accounting and finance professional with core competencies including acquisitions, financial accounting, budget/forecasting and reporting with 30+ years of experience with both closely held businesses and
businesses with global operations.

Most recently, he worked as a Controller for Ruthman Pump and Engineering, a $60M family owned manufacturing company, with 200 employees and multiple locations throughout the US.

Dave’s skills include 401K plan administration, including annual audit, A/P and A/R functions. He brings a proven ability to foster relationships within the business community and an extensive background in managing diverse
business functions.

He has consistently demonstrated his ability to successfully implement effective organization structures, management systems and technology to support organizational growth.

A certified public accountant, Dave graduated Magna Cum Laude from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dave financed all of his college expenses through scholarships and work experiences!

David Throop

Controller
David brings over 30 years of Accounting and Consulting experience to TP4. He has extensive experience in many areas of accounting, including financial statement prep, presentation, and analysis, audit management, asset recovery, and budgeting. David is a CPA and a graduate of Wright State University where he was a dual major in Accounting and Finance. He is experienced in Healthcare, Financial Administration and Services, Retail, Wholesale, and Recovery Audit and Consulting. Originally from Northeast Ohio, he currently lives in West Carrollton, where he and his wife Michelle enjoy traveling and supporting animal rescues and charities.

Crystal Crowell

Director of Operations
Crystal’s work experience prior to TP4 Advisors includes work in education, coaching, bookkeeping and accounting, and small business ownership. She brings her highly organized and driven style to every job she undertakes. She attended Northern Kentucky University where she studied Criminal Justice and Pre-law.

Crystal was born and raised in Northern Kentucky and now resides in Tampa, Florida with her husband Chad, daughter Aubrey, and son Avery. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and photography.

Cherisse Ratan

Controller
Cherisse brings over 25 years of accounting experience in a broad range of roles spanning from auditor to Senior Controller with the last 15 years in non-profit. Her extensive experience ranges from general ledger, fixed assets, A/P, A/R, payroll, financial, management and regulatory reporting, audits, internal control evaluation and establishment, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance, escheatment filing, sales and use tax return filing, budgets, strategic planning, policies and procedures, and contract review. In her most recent roles, she worked within the public charter schools in California.

In her free time, she loves to spend time with her two English Mastiffs and gardening, hiking, walking and a healthy lifestyle.

Alan Love

Accounting Manager
Alan brings a diverse professional background with nearly 10 years of experience in accounting. His work experience prior to TP4 Advisors includes work in bookkeeping and accounting with small businesses.

Alan is a graduate from the University of Cincinnati and participated in their Foreign Exchange Student Mentorship Program while there.

Jennifer Hunt

Accounting Specialist
Jennifer Hunt brings over 27 years of experience as an accountant to the TP4 team including work at Ernst & Young (now EY) as a Staff Auditor.

Prior to joining TP4, Jennifer worked at Schuh & Goldberg, LLP where she was responsible for all accounting functions at the law firm including monthly financial statement preparation, payroll, payables, receivables, cash management, reconciliations, and reporting. She also recently worked at Langefels Equipment Company, where she prepared monthly financial statements and was responsible for all accounting functions including payables, receivables, and managing cash flow.

Jennifer graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in accounting and minoring in economics. She passed the C.P.A. exam in 2000. She and her husband Rick have 3 children. When she is not working, she enjoys watching them play softball, basketball, volleyball, and run cross country. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, gardening, and walking with her Australian Labradoodle.

Angela Flowers

Bookkeeping Specialist
Angie brings over 30 years of experience in bookkeeping and client relations. Prior to joining TP4 Advisors, Angie worked in billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, office management and payroll.

Angie spends her free time reading, enjoying the outdoors through walks and canoeing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Kia Webb-Glanton

Bookkeeping Specialist
Prior to joining TP4 Advisors, Kia’s background is in customer service and Data Analysis/Forecasting/Strategic Planning. She graduated from Wright State University.

Traci King

Bookkeeping Specialist
Traci brings over 20 years of experience in bookkeeping and client relations. Prior to joining TP4 Advisors, Traci worked closely with brands to increase brand awareness to elevate sales, training team members and providing support to struggling departments.

Traci has been married for 21 years and has 4 children and 2 grandchildren. Her family recently moved to Indiana. She loves to travel.

Tricia Moorman

Bookkeeping Specialist
Tricia joins the TP4 Advisors team with over 5 year’s experience in accounts payables/receivables work.

Her previous work experience includes an accounts receivable clerk at a bankruptcy and foreclosure law firm, a marketing and proposal coordinator, a bookkeeper and an office administrator.

She also started her own clothing business called Dandelion Designs, where she enjoys managing, designing and creating clothing and accessories for young girls.

Her and her husband, Bill, have 2 sons and a daughter. She enjoys golfing, boating, attending sporting events and traveling with family and friends. She also likes to spend her free time gardening, cooking, sewing, doing creative projects and volunteering.

Elizabeth Koehler

Bookkeeping Specialist
Elizabeth has been an administrative assistant along with various other duties along the way for 23 years with Mercy Health and still currently works there full time. I have two children and enjoy spending time with Family and friends and reside in the Batavia area.

Kim Law

Bookkeeping Specialist
Kim joins the TP4 team and brings a diverse background with 9 years of experience in sales management. She acted as an integral part of opening and closing stores, handling event planning to new staff recruiting efforts and continuously driving sales.

Kim is a mother of 5 and enjoys spending time with my family and staying involved in all of her children’s activities. She is also a breast cancer survivor and her favorite hobby includes crocheting items for my oncology office and participating in multiple survivor groups.

Karen Olinger

Bookkeeping Specialist
Prior to joining TP4 Advisors, Karen worked in a financial planners’ office and as a teacher. She is a graduate of Miami University.

Karen has 2 children, 2 stepsons, and 5 grandchildren. She has been married for 26 years to her husband, Jeff. They enjoy traveling and doing anything with their family.

Susan Purnell

Bookkeeping Specialist
Bringing with her over 30 years of public and private accounting experience, Susan is excited to join the TP4 Advisors team. Her most recent work, prior to joining TP4 Advisors, was at a multi-location autobody repair company. There she worked closely with the General Manager on all aspects of the daily accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger analysis & review.

Susan worked 17 years for Dean Dorton, a large local accounting firm. Staffed in its Client Accounting & Payroll division, she was responsible for numerous clients’ daily accounting, including all aspects of the general ledger. She worked with clients in various industries such as Equine, Liquor, Agriculture, Medical, and Legal.

Susan also owns a small bookkeeping business where she provides personal accounting services to clients.

Lexington has been Susan’s home for most of her life. She and her husband have four grown children and four grandchildren. Most of her free time is spent with family and friends. The couple is avid travelers, both domestic and abroad.

Christy Combs

Operations Coordinator
Christy brings over 20 years of experience in office management and client relations. Her corporate positions in administrative support and executive sales, partnered with years of entrepreneurship, have polished her business
and organization skills while working in a fast-paced environment.

Christy and her husband Steve live in Monroe with their 4 children. They are a big sports family and their favorite places to stay active are on the lake, on the beach, or on a mountain.

Elizabeth Walsh

Office Coordinator
Prior to joining TP4 Advisors Elizabeth worked in various customer service positions, and in education. She graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She is a recent transplant to Ohio, and in her off time enjoys reading and traveling.

Elisabeth Van den Berg

Bookkeeping Specialist
Elisabeth joins our TP4 team as a Bookkeeping Intern while she completes her business degree at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College. She enjoys traveling and has traveled to over three different continents.
